B Family

I spent a beautiful morning at the B's acreage for some family photos. They were great with ideas for spots that were meaningful to them or where they had previously had photos taken. It's always nice to do comparisons and see how much your family has grown! We even got their newest family member, Daisy the dog, to sit AND look at the camera for a few shots!! :) Here are just a few of my favorites...

J + E Maternity session

J + E's maternity session was booked earlier than expected, as it's seeming like their little man might make an early appearance! I was so happy we got such a gorgeous, calm evening at the "pond" since earlier in the day it had been cloudy and drizzly (and a few days later we got snow)! This is such a beautiful location and we got a TON of great shots. Best wishes to the first time parents-to-be, you're in for a crazy, but amazing ride!

K Family

It was cold and windy, but the sun peeked out and we got in some great shots for this mini family session. Little Mr. R was quite serious and would only crack a smile for Mom or Dad, but he loved looking at the camera and was very intrigued by it (until the end when he'd absolutely had it with pictures that is)! I took maternity pictures of these guys so it was really nice to do some family ones for them and see how they've grown!

Baby Sophie - Part 1

Miss Sophie was 8 days old for her photos and is officially my first newborn session!  She was born 3 weeks early, but you'd never know! She is so beautiful and healthy, with a full head of dark hair and is by far the strongest baby (especially that young) on her tummy I've ever seen!! Her mom made some cute crochet items we got to play with for the session too (check out Edam Soap Shoppe on Facebook)!

Baby Sophie - Part 2

After doing some solo shots of Miss Sophie we did a few with her big brother and sister.  They've got beautiful blue eyes and wild curly hair and I can imagine Sophie will look just like her big sister as she gets older! These three will definitely keep mom on her toes! ;)

Welcome to the world, little one!

Valentine's Day session

It was a beautiful sunny Valentine's Day with a nice blanket of fresh snow (that I made them trek through a bit)! C & A are family and we fit in a quick photo session during their visit before the sun went down. I love how they turned out, perfect light and a gorgeous couple, what more could you ask for!?

A portrait session of a son for his mom

I have known T my entire life.  Our moms met when they were pregnant with the two of us and became very close friends.  It doesn't matter how old you get your mom will ALWAYS want and treasure photos of you so when his mom asked me to take some photos for her we obliged!  My boys are still young and 'let' me photograph them, but I know I will feel the same way when they're older and hope to capture many memories as the years go on.

C & S get engaged!

A surprise proposal at the Country Lights!  It was such a romantic and festive setting.  An ornament was hung on one of the trees with the ring in it and C & S came strolling down the lane of decorated trees.  I wanted to be discrete so I hung back a bit and stayed behind S so she couldn't see me.  C took her toward the tree and she saw the ornament, the rest is history!  So happy I could 'steal' a few photos of this amazing moment for them!  It was freezing and they weren't really dressed for the outdoors (not knowing she was headed here) so we didn't last too long.  I am looking forward to an engagement session with these two soon (with some natural light during a nice warm winter day)! ;)

Baby Olivia

1 month old sweetheart, Olivia, and her beautiful mom had a photo session in their home this past weekend.  The love between them is incredibly beautiful.

"No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you, after all, you're the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside".
